Slow down. Notice more. Spend time with nature.
Nature connection is an invitation to experience your surroundings with attention and curiosity. Through gentle walking, sensory exploration and quiet pauses, I guide you towards a more attentive relationship with the natural world.
You might listen to leaves moving overhead, notice the textures of a tree or sit beside flowing water. There is time to explore without needing to fill every moment.
What is Shinrin-Yoku?
Shinrin-Yoku is a Japanese term commonly translated as forest bathing. It means spending attentive time in a forest environment through the senses. No bathing in water is involved.
My approach draws on my professional forest bathing training and my experience guiding people through São Miguel.
What happens during an experience?
We begin with a welcome and an introduction to the place. I then offer simple invitations to explore your surroundings through your senses, with time to walk, sit and notice.
Some moments may be shared; others leave space for silence. You choose how you engage, and no previous experience is needed.
1. Arrive and settle into the surroundings.
2. Explore through your senses.
3. Take time to walk, pause and notice.
4. Close with optional sharing.
